Tyson Fury has vowed to fight Oleksandr Usyk for the chance to become the undisputed king of heavyweight rng boxing as the Ukrainian confirmed their meeting on 23 December in Saudi Arabia rng
Usyk was ringside for Fury’s unconvincing split-decision victory over ex-UFC champion Francis Ngannou in Riyadh on Saturday night rng
MMA star Ngannou shockingly went the distance in his rng boxing debut, even knocking down reigning WBC heavyweight champion Fury at one point, but Fury remained undefeated rng
Two judges gave Fury the fight by scores of 96-93 and 95-94, and the other judge favoured Ngannou 95-94 rng
Fury’s championship belt was never on the line in this bout, though it counts as an official fight rng
Good thing for Fury, because Ngannou showed early in the scheduled 10-round fight that he wasn’t going anywhere rng
Afterwards Usyk, who owns the other three global heavyweight belts, turned attention to their showdown, saying: “It’s a big fight rng
The whole world wants this fight rng
We’re back in this ring, 23 December, thank you very much, I go to sleep rng
”Fury said: “It’s been going on a long time, let’s do the fight, over here, for all the belts, the undisputed title of the world rng

Jakob Ingebrigtsen has accused his father and former coach of physical violence and abusive behaviour in a statement alongside his two brothers, Filip and Henrik – an accusation that their father strenuously denies rng
Olympic 1,500m champion Jakob, the youngest of the three siblings, shot to fame when he stormed to gold at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 aged just 20 rng
The Norwegian middle-distance runner has since gone on to win two World Championship silvers and two golds in 2022 and 2023 rng
In 2022, Gjert Ingebrigtsen stepped down as coach of the three brothers for medical reasons rng
However, the rift became increasingly public when Gjert began coaching fellow Norwegian Narve Gilje Nordas, who is a main rival of Jakob heading into next year’s Olympics having won bronze at the World Championships in August rng
Now, in an article for the publication VG, the brothers have gone public with historical claims of physical abuse about their father, suggesting “now the situation is unbearable rng

“We have grown up with a father who has been very aggressive and controlling and who has used physical violence and threats as part of his upbringing rng

We have lived with it, and in adulthood we have moved on rng

The three brothers and their father had a very public relationship as the stars of a Norwegian reality TV show, Team Ingebrigtsen, but the trio now say they don’t have the “capacity or desire” to interact with him rng

In a statement released by his lawyers, Gjert has strenuously denied the claims, saying: “The statements they make are baseless rng
I have never used violence against my children rng
That I have had weaknesses as a father, and to a great extent been a coach, is a realization I have also come to – albeit far too late rng
“I’m far from perfect as a father and husband, but I’m not violent rng
First and foremost, this is a tragic situation for my family – we have reached the point where we are spreading false accusations against each other in the media rng
It makes me deeply unhappy rng
